The Crown Isle Subdivison is an 871 acre housing development in Courtenay, BC.
Crown Isle is an upscale community that borders a high end golf course. Some homes are just off the fairways while others are situated well off the golf course and surrounded by fine homes.
Crown Isle can be accessed from Crown Isle off of Ryan Road by the Cosco. Another entrance is from Malahat Drive off of Lerwick Drive just down the street from Mark R Isfeld High School. A third is from Idiens Way off of either Lerwick or Anderton Road.
While some homes in the area are stratas (condos, patio homes and bare land), the vast majority are freehold ownership. Some homes have views of the Comox Glacier. All homes are subject to a building scheme.
The Crown Isle real estate market began in the early 1990s. The first single family lot sold on the MLS in August of 1992 on Royal Vista Way. A total of 871 acres will be developed around this residential golf course community. New construction will be ongoing for years to come as the area continues to expand.
